This model has an automatic ice maker. It produces fresh and filtered ice. It's simple to use and it's also easy to use. The dispensers for water and ice are located inside the refrigerator, not on the front. This is to ensure that they won't detract from the sleek exterior. The dispensers are compatible with any cold drink including juice and sports drinks. This refrigerator has a robust stainless steel finish that is resistant to scratches and dents. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges appearing on your surfaces, use an item that cleans fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
LG counter-depth refrigerators have a lot of storage into a small footprint. Counter-depth refrigerators are more affordable than standard-depth French-door refrigerators, and can remove the need for an under-counter smaller freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView counter-depth refrigerator (LMWC23626S) is no exception with the capacity of a standard fridge in an elegant, modern design, with an integrated dispenser that makes it easy to access water that is filtered.
This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are spacious, and the top right shelf can be folded down to form a a half-depth shelf that allows larger items to fit. A set of crisper drawers is at the bottom of the refrigerator and the deli drawer with a full width is suitable for meat or produce.
A recessible ice maker is located on the back of the refrigerator. It reduces space and makes it easier to store an additional bag of ice. The refrigerator has door cooling which makes use of vents in the door of the fridge and freezer to allow cold air to enter. It helps to prevent hot spots and keeps temperatures consistent throughout the refrigerator.
This LG refrigerator is a standout in our tests and has plenty of capacity to feed a family, but it does have a few quirks that we found annoying. First, the freezer drawers don't remain as cold as we would like. The middle drawer was 41 degrees during our maximum test of use, which is warm enough for ice cream and other frozen foods. The temperature of the rest of the freezer remained around 36 degrees.
The doors of refrigerators also have handles that are sunken and make it difficult for those with smaller hands to close. It may seem trivial however, we prefer front mounted handles on refrigerators to make them easier to open and shut.
The fridge is costly but it's worth it for those who want a sleek look in their kitchen. This fridge is recommended for those who want to upgrade their refrigerator or for those who are building new homes and want a seamless kitchen.
Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
Samsung's newest counter-depth French door fridge called the RF23M8090SG, is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well in our cooling tests, but we're not a fan of its plastic handles and the bins that are crisper feel a little flimsy.
One thing that distinguishes the RF23M8090SG apart is its Bespoke line, which lets you customize your fridge using removable color panels that can be swapped whenever you get tired of the current ones. There are 11 different color options, ranging from pastels to more vibrant shades. There are also four metallic finishes. Some of these panels can be customized with text or photos which makes the fridge a more personal feature that can be matched to your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.
french door fridge freezers can be changed to a different color, which is a nice feature. And the refrigerator's interior is finished in a way that helps reduce smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The only negatives to the RF23M8090SG are its slightly cramped beverage center and some learning curve when it comes to opening the door-in-door feature that houses a water pitcher as well as dispenser. You need to feel for the lever on the underside of the door about halfway down. Once you find it, the second door opens inside the fridge, which houses the pitcher docking station and the water dispenser.
The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is large enough to accommodate a large amount of frozen foods and features an amazing slide-out drawer system that lets you access whichever food you're looking for without opening the entire compartment. There's also a butter-bin-style compartment inside the freezer that allows for simple storage of small items, and a drawer with a huge capacity which can store larger frozen items. This drawer is lockable with a password, so that any unwanted guests are kept out. It also has an efficient LED to help you see what's inside at an instant. The freezer can also monitor the energy consumption and help you lower your power bills by using the SmartThings Energy Mode.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
French door refrigerators are a wonderful addition to any kitchen. They are sleek and are a great fit for all sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are the best option if you want this design, but without the height. This model from Frigidaire that we've extensively tested and has received an above average rating in our ratings because of its reasonable price and thoughtful features such as an adjustable temperature drawer.
However, it has a couple of nagging problems. Our test data indicates that the FGHB2866PF gets warm quite a bit in the freezer, and it can be uncomfortable warm in the fridge's innermost shelving. That's reflected in our heat maps which show how interior temps fluctuate minute by minute. The orange area on the top right, representing the butter bin, is particularly warm for most of our testing period. This might not seem too bad at first glance however, it means that the fridge is spending a significant part of the time at 33 degrees.
It's also worth mentioning that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model. This could be a factor for certain buyers. The real problem is that the fridge isn't very good. It lacks advanced features and durable construction, making it difficult to recommend it over more expensive models at this price.
This Frigidaire refrigerator is similar to the stainless steel model you may see in the local store for appliances. It's a good choice with a brushed-finish that looks attractive and is resistant against streaks. However it's not offering much to differentiate itself from competitors that are more feature-rich and less expensive.
If you're looking for a low-cost counter-depth French door refrigerator and do not have the money to splurge on our best choices and the FGHC2331PF is worth considering. It's got enough storage to meet the requirements of the majority of families and does an excellent job at keeping food fresh. Even even if it's not a green model, it's much less expensive than our top-rated models.
